Haven't uploaded in a while, so I thought I'd upload a picture I took just the other day.

This is a picture of the stairs I have to climb everyday to get to university, a problem with these stairs is that each step is a bit too small so climbing two is a bit less than a normal step and climbing three is too much of a stretch..... first world problems

This picture was taken in Shibakoen.

Shibakoen is home to Tokyo Tower. We arrived in Shibakoen at around 4:00pm as we wanted to see Tokyo Tower by night (hence the sunset picture).
This picture was taken whilst we were trying to find somewhere to eat, which by the way, is impossible around that time in Tokyo... but we did find somewhere eventually :)

A walk in the park.

About two weeks ago, Louise and I went to a park near by, I believe it was called Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden.
Unfortunately and fortunately we arrived late, this meant we only have a couple of hours however this did mean we were able to take pictures with the perfect light.

I've got a much nicer picture, however you'll have to wait till tomorrow for that :)

Breaking the trend.

As stated in my blog section, I've been too focused on 'What' and 'When' I upload to my website, so henceforth, you'll be seeing more pictures with a much wider variety. For example, todays picture is a nice close up of my face at the Kansen-en park.

The Kansen-en park is a wonderfully amazing park, just a 5 minute walk from our house and we never knew.
Expect a blog post about the park soon.

This weekend we went to Shibakoen, Minato, to see the famous land mark 'Tokyo Tower'

This was a wonderful structure to see as we saw it by night, something the forums said was a must do when visiting Tokyo.
We arrived in Minato later on in the day as I had a Kanji exam today (see blog for more details).

This picture was taken from a small park located about 2 minutes away from the base of the tower. From here, Louise and I laid on the grass just looking up at this wonderful structure. A moment I won't forget.

This was taken in Asakusa.

For this weekend adventure we went to Asakusa to the 'golden poop' and many other sight seeing places. One of them was 'My Wife Bridge' a famous bridge over a major river. The bridge was quiet old and filled with tourists.

In the reflection of the building on the right, you can see Tokyo Tower. Tokyo Tower is the same building we can see from our kitchen window, although about 14 miles away lol and we can only see the top of it :D

For Louise's birthday weekend, we went to Kamakura.
In Kamakura we went to several shrines and even went to the beach which was very nice :)

This picture was taken at the first shrine we visited, Meigetsu-in.
Although the shrines were very nice, I personally enjoyed the beach more :)

Just testing the uploading of a PoW from the website. Before I had to resize the images and upload them to the server manually as the website upload wasn't working. But hopefully this works first time.
